Sustaining Black Creativity: A conversation with Dr. Zoe Whitley

The Centre in partnership with OCAD U’s President’s Speaker Series hosted Dr. Zoé Whitley, one of the United Kingdom’s most influential curators and cultural leaders. Centre Director Dr. Andrea Fatona interviewed Dr. Whitley in a wide-ranging discussion devoted to the future of Black art. Topics included how to sustain diverse talent in the arts communities in the UK and Canada, ensuring that varied and distinct voices continue to inform and populate galleries, public art projects and arts infrastructure.
